Serendipity…..making fortunate discoveries by accident

After having a total of 14 booths in different antique malls for years, and spending too much time in the cars going from mall to mall, two years ago we decided to open our own antique shop. Our inventory is constantly changing with everything from elegant Victorian furniture to primitives as well as decorator pieces.  We also have vintage clothing, European linens, pottery, glassware, and vintage jewelry.  Our antique shop is just a block West of Main Street, 123 West Grayson Street, with a parking lot between us and Main.  There is another parking lot at the rear of our store as well.

We chose Galax because, even though we are both transplants, we love our small town.  It’s such a wonderful feeling to walk down our streets and meet so many people that we know; locals, visitors, and other shop owners.  We’re all working together to try to make our town a place others will want to visit and be a part of.  It’s a great place to spend the day wandering from shop to shop, having a cup of coffee, meeting friends both old and new, having lunch, and shopping some more.

We hope you’ll find an unexpected treasure in Serendipity today.  We find ours in seeing our customers smile.
